Football Program Ends Participation Trophies

The Keller Youth Football Program in North Texas has announced that they will no longer hand out participation trophies, saying that trophies should be earned by players. Trophies are used by many as a way to motivate children and celebrate their effort. So if your kid dies before winning the title, you’re just going to have to look at something else while sobbing heavily in their bedroom.
