Food Sell By Dates Are Mostly BS

Due to state-to-state differences in how ‘sell by’ dates are regulated, it essentially makes them useless. This leads to massive food waste, which in America adds up to $165 billion dollars a year. The difference between”sell by”,”best if used by”,”freeze by” and “best if enjoyed by” make the whole situation murky. Hoarders are the only people here who haven’t been screwed over.
