Floyd Mayweather will receive a record guarantee of $41.5 million to fight Canelo Alvarez in September in Las Vegas in a Showtime pay-per-view bout. The previous high was $33 million paid to Evander Holyfield for his rematch with Mike Tyson for the heavyweight belt. Whereas Alvarez will be able to eat free at the buffet.
