Florida Hospital Won’t Hire Smokers

Starting in 2014, a Florida hospital is joining two others in the area by refusing to hire any cigarette smokers. “We are in the health care business, and we should be a role model” said the hospital’s executive director. It tends to be quite difficult to insert an I.V. when you’re hacking up black phlegm.
