Find Author’s Dog. Get In His Next Book.

Author Dennis Lehane (“Mystic River”, “Gone Baby Gone” and “Shutter Island”) has put out a special reward for anyone who can find his missing beagle who took off in Brookline. The person who returns his dog will have a character named after them in Lehane’s next book. He posted – “Naming of character in the next book for anyone who gets her back to us! (No, really!) Again–Tessa, black-and-tan Beagle, 24 hours on the lam, sweet as all hell. Thank you!” And even better, Leonardo DiCaprio or Sean Penn could end up playing you in the movie version.
