Facebook is Developing an App Only for Celebrities

They’re beta-testing it with a small group of celebrities right now, and the point of it is to let fans interact more with said celebrities. The VIP App will filter all Facebook posts about celebrities to see what their fans are saying about them, and in theory allowing them to respond and interact with the fans.
This is to try to get famous people to be more active on Facebook, like they are with their Twitter accounts. This is exciting, because it lets all your favorite celebrities market directly to you on Facebook, because their Twitter wasn’t enough.
