At a giant pool party event in Mexico sponsored by Jagermeister, organizers thought it would be a fun touch to add buckets of liquid nitrogen to the pool water. The liquid nitrogen reacted to the chlorine in the pool resulting in a not-so-festive poison cloud. One person is in a coma and 8 others were hospitalized. Promoters apologized and invited everyone to their next event – the Bleach & Ammonia Jacuzzi Fest.
