Ever Find a Mystery Pill and Not Sure If It’s Safe to Eat? There’s an App for That!

Or soon will be.  The National Institute of Health is in the process of creating an app that identifies a pill just by taking a picture of it with your smartphone. Right now, it’s correct 91% of the time. No more wondering if the load of pills you found in grandmas drawer are safe to snort, once this app comes out, you’ll be good to go.  Unless it turns out they’re also secretly tracking you.
