It’s been an amazing past 8 days for Weird Al Yankovich. He promoted his new album “Mandatory Fun” by releasing 8 brand new music videos in 8 days time. This 8 media blitz ends today with Weird Al’s final video which was released to WSJ.com. Today’s song is “Mission Statement” in the style of “Suite: Judy Blue Eyes” by Crosby, Stills & Nash. It’s a salute to corporate jargon and strategies than anyone working in a large company are subjected to every day.

Day 1: Weird Al’s “Tacky” parody of Pharrell Williams’ “Happy”.


 

Day 2: Weird Al’s “Word Crimes” done to the song of the Summer 2013, “Blurred Lines” by Robin Thicke.


 

Day 3: Weird Al’s “Foil” parodied “Royals” by Lourdes in song that made Reynolds Wrap proud.


 

Day 4:  Weird Al got “Handy” with a musical salute to home repairs in a parody of Iggy Azalea’s “Fancy”.


 

Day 5: Weird Al brought out a full marching band for “Sports Song” a song about how the other guy’s team sucks.


Day 6: Weird Al Yankovich was having some “First World Problems” done in the style of the Pixies.

Day 7:  Weird Al’s  “Lame Claim To Fame” which was done in the style of of Southern Culture on the Skids, about how everyone seems to have a celebrity connection without really knowing a celebrity.
