Eddie Murphy Will Star in Movie Inspired by Grumpy Old Men

Deadline is reporting that Eddie Murphy is attached to star in a new movie based on the idea of Grumpy Old Men. New Line is producing, and Tim Story is attached to direct the movie inspired by Walter Matthau and Jack Lemmon’s hit comedy.
The original told a story of two neighbors with a lifelong hatred for each other until a new neighbor gives them something in common, and generated a sequel, Grumpier Old Men. Deadline says Samuel L. Jackson is one of the names being tossed around to play opposite Murphy.
Story directed some big moneymakers including Ride Along 2, Think Like A Man Too, Ride Along, Think Like A Man, Fantastic Four: Rise of The Silver Surfer, Fantastic Four and Barbershop, and just wrapped production on Shaft.
