Don’t Call It A Comeback: Rickets On The Rise In UK
Rickets, the disease that caused many cases of bowed legs and curved spines in children during the Victorian era is reportedly on the rise in the UK. After being essentially eradicated in the 1950’s, cases have increased from 183 in 1995 to 762 in 2011. Next they’ll be saying there’s an outbreak of smallpox and dock fever.
