Does WFAN Hate Pregnant Women!?

Well, in all fairness, they only hate pregnant women who are also Red Sox Fans. Their new subway ad reminds riders to be courteous to expectant women: “Always offer your seat to a pregnant woman. Unless she’s wearing a Red Sox hat.” And of course, some people are pissed. The people at Adweek.com don’t like it. They wrote “Rowdy, locker-room-culture sports ads are one thing, but this isn’t even a celebration of the game. It’s just promoting silly tribalism, and it’s not even clever.” The folks at huffingtonpost.com write: “we love a good sports rivalry (and seriously, Red Sox suck) but the folks over at WFAN may have taken it too far this time.”
