Do We Value Prison More Than College!?

A study on prison funding shows that it costs $44,000 to keep a prisoner in a New Jersey state prison while the cost of one year at Princeton University costs $37,000.  In some states, the amount spent on prisons is double what gets spent on higher education.  Of course prisons do have to budget for all that toilet paper that gets lit on fire during riots.
