Did Rosie O’Donnell Steal Her Daughter!?

17 years ago, was Deanna Micoley high on drugs and persuaded by her then-husband into giving up her 2-month-old daughter Kayla for adoption to Rosie O’Donnell? Apparently now she has decided she was and she is pissed about it.

According to the New York Daily News, covering an interview that Micoley did with the National Enquirer, she said, “I believe Rosie O’Donnell knew that I was in no condition to sign away my parental rights to my daughter. She did the worst thing one woman can do to another woman — take her child.” Rosie gained custody through an adoption agency.

The daughter in question is Rosie O’Donnell’s daughter Chelsea who is now 17 years old. Micoley said that it was Chelsea that looked for her when she reached out to Micoley’s father. “Chelsea told him that she was his granddaughter. He called me and broke the news. It was the moment I’d been waiting and praying for the last 17 years: I had found my precious daughter!”

She says that now she and Chelsea stay in touch by text and via Facebook. Micoley didn’t know about Chelsea’s whereabouts until late last year.
