Dennis Hopper was a madman, a genius, an actor, a photographer, a director. He was an artist. He was cool. When he passed away in 2010, the world lost one it’s great souls. He may have had his demons in life, but he rose above them and put forth amazing, prolific work throughout his career. He made every role his own no matter the project, Dennis Hopper was someone to be admired. Below are some of his most memorable roles and scenes in film.

Dennis Hopper played Rusty James and Motorcycle Boy’s reclusive drunk of a father in Francis Ford Coppola’s Rumble Fish.
