Dave Chappelle on Broadway This Summer

Dave Chappelle is coming to the crossroads of the world to make his Broadway debut. Chappelle will perform on the Great White Way this summer with an exciting short show run that is guaranteed to sell out.

“Dave Chappelle Live on Broadway” is coming to the historic Lunt-Fontanne Theatre for a five day limited run from July 9-13.

The most celebrated comedian performing today, Chappelle stunned the world when he walked away from a runaway career after his Chappelle Show took off. But since returning to the stage he’s been unstoppable with stacked specials, awards, and honors all around including Harvard’s W.E.B DuBois award this year, two Emmys- one for his SNL appearance, another for his Netflix special, back to back Grammys and he’ll receive this year’s Mark Twain Award (comedy’s highest honor). After a massive sold out run at Radio City, his choice of the theater district for his next New York run smells like a Tony attempt, so we can only imagine that a search for the right movie role is in the works, as long as the world is tripping over each other to hand Dave honors and awards.

Tickets go on pre-sale on Tuesday with a regular on-sale date of June 21st.
