In Living Color star Damon Wayans stopped by New York City’s Power 105.1’s morning show The Breakfast Show today and told host Charlamagne tha God and co-host Angela Yee that he doesn’t think Cosby raped any women.  He also criticized Hannibal Buress for taking down a hero.

“I don’t believe he was raping them,” Wayans said. I think he was in relationships with all of them, and then he was like, ‘It’s 78, it don’t work no more. I can’t get it up for any of y’all. Bye bitches.’ And then they were like, ‘Oh really? Rape!’”

Wayans joked that many of the women are unrapeable and added that he doesn’t believe women are that naive.  “He just walked in someone’s dressing room and put his penis in they mouth?” he asked.  Wayans said he thinks Cosby’s mistake was when he started criticizing young Black men, because he lost their support.  He believes the women who accused Cosby saw that he was vulnerable, and attacked.  “But the dude from ‘7th Heaven,’ his show is still on TV. Woody Allen [is] still making shows and movies. If it was my daughter, I would have killed Bill Cosby. But just sitting back looking at it, I just don’t believe it. I think it’s a money hustle.”

Wayans also had thoughts about Hannibal Buress, whose stand up brought the Cosby allegations to the attention of mainstream America.  Wayans said he’s seen Hannibal’s late night talk show, and called it premature. “Right now they’re putting him out there as the guy who outted bill Cosby but he’s not ready for prime time.  Hopefully he’ll catch it but I don’t feel it right now,” Wayans said. He was critical of Buress’ comments about Cosby, because he feels that we need heroes, and we should “be more supportive until we know for sure.”  Wayans argued that there are no charges against Cosby, and cited the innocent till proven guilty rule.

Wayans also talked about Tracy Morgan’s Walmart settlement, his brief stint with Saturday Night Live, and the brilliance of In Living Color.  Jump to 26:30 to hear Damon talk about Bill Cosby.
