Damon Lindelof – Breaking Bad – Lost
Damon Lindelof was invited to write a guest column about the Breaking Bad finale. He used it as a platform to ask people to stop writing him and complaining to him about how bad the Lost finale sucked. He does this through faked self-deprication and acknowledging that this column about Breaking Bad shouldn’t be used for this, yet does so anyway. And he compares himself to Walter White for reasons that make no sense.
Lost started off so amazingly and the writers kept weaving these fantastic Sci-Fi yarns. We eventually found out they had no plan and no way to unwind and explain them at the end. So, they punted on the final season and went with the ‘dues ex machina’ ending. Seems odd to blame the fans for being disappointed with lazy writing for a show that was initially written so well.
