Cosby Returning To NBC To Star In A New Comedy Series

30 years ago, The Cosby Show premiered on NBC and saved the network – and the sitcom format – from extinction. NBC is hoping that lightning will strike twice, as they signed a deal with the iconic comedian/author to star in a new half-hour family comedy. The show will be produced by former Cosby Show producer Tom Werner and will feature The Cos as the patriarch of a multi-generational family. No word yet on who will co-star or when the show will air. Cosby is also prepping to reboot his classic animated series Fat Albert & The Cosby Kids.
