Keith Robinson’s long awaited comedy special is coming to Comedy Central and it’s about time. Here comes “Kevin Hart Presents: Keith Robinson Back of the Bus Funny”.

The new hour long special featuring Keith Robinson in front of a live audience at the Gramercy Theater in New York City is produced by Robinson’s long time friend Kevin Hart, and considering everything Kevin Hart touches is gold, and Keith Robinson is really really funny, we can’t wait to see it. Robinson is crediting with bringing Hart to his first comedy gig in New York from Hart’s hometown of Philadelphia.  Robinson is well known to New Yorke comedy fans as one of the Comedy Cellar elite, and now everyone with Comedy Central will be able to see why New Yorkers have so much love for Keith.

Robinson has been putting together the material for his “Back of the Bus Funny” special for awhile and went out on the road for 6 months to work it out to make sure it was ready for the taping in NYC.

“Back of the Bus Funny” refers to Keith Robinson’s term for one of the toughest audiences he ever faced, the other kids that sat in the back of the school bus. Robinson felt that was a proving ground for testing how funny a person could be and said that if he ever did a comedy special “Back of the Bus Funny” would be the name of it. He reminds people that “Back of the Bus Funny” has nothing to do with Rosa Parks.

In his hour, Keith Robinson talks about raising his son who’s now in his terrible twenties, dealing his son’s mother, people being too sensitive ,and he reveals the real reason that Barack Obama is President.

“Kevin Hart Presents: Keith Robinson Back of the Bus Funny” premieres this Saturday, February 21st at 11pm et on Comedy Central. And look for him this summer in the Judd Apatow-Amy Schumer movie, Trainwreck.
