Comedian Discovers Club’s Two-Way Bathroom Mirror, Owner Says It Stays

When Tamale Rocks was recently performing her stand up act at a bar in Berwyn, Illinois, she made a discovery in the in the ladies room.  At Cigars and Stripes BBQ Lounge, Tamale spotted a full length mirror opposite of a toilet in the restroom. In a video she shot, it shows that the mirror is actually a two-way mirror with a small room behind it.

After she posted her video, Jezebel talked to the owner of the club, Ronnie Lotz, about the ladies room situation. He said, “That woman opened the door. I mean she opened the door, there’s nothing in there.” Lotz continued to say, “Quite frankly I’m enjoying people calling, because I’m selling chicken wings.”

Lotz claimed that Tamale may just be wanting to go viral and that he’s not getting rid of the mirror, adding that it’s part of his bar’s Halloween attraction. He said, “I will burn this fucking place to the ground before I get rid of that mirror. Do you know how much joy that mirror has brought to us? We’re synonymous with Halloween.” He continued, “This is a fun house, honey, and if you don’t like the two-way mirror, go fuck yourself.”

Ronnie Lotz also offered the explanation that this could all be “a publicity stunt” that he and Tamale Rocks are in on together. Since the mirror is staying you can visit the ladies room at Cigars and Stripes and decide for yourself.
