Colts Punter Stand Up Special Sells Out 1,600 Seats, Adds 2nd Show

You might think you’d have to be a comedian to land a stand-up comedy special, but apparently, you can be an NFL punter, too.
Indianapolis Colts punter Pat McAfee recently announced plans for his first ever stand-up special. “Pat McAfee: Uncaged” at the Palladium in Carmel, Indiana is slated for Saturday, July 11. Within two hours of tickets going on sale, the Palladium had sold all 1,600 seats. The Indy Star is reporting that they have just added a second show, scheduled for July 12, due to popular demand.
VIP tickets are available for $100, while other seats are available for $60 and $30 per person.
McAfee is a regular guest on The Bob & Tom Show, who he credits for helping shape his stories for the stage.
The punter was also first-team All-Pro and a Pro-Bowler in 2014.
