China Donates Only $100,000 To Typhoon Relief

Despite boasting a GDP of over 8 trillion, the second largest in the world, China has only donated $100,000 to the Philippines typhoon relief effort. The relationship between the two countries has been rocky in recent years, with disputes over sea territory dividing the Asian nations. You probably don’t have to worry about that now China since most of that ocean is now a part of the Philippines.
