Child Firearm Deaths Are Grossly Underreported
An investigation by the New York Times shows the number of accidental deaths of children by firearms are nearly twice as much as they are actually recorded, with inconsistencies in regards to how the shootings are classified. Many have lobbied for more childproof weapons and safe storage laws, but gun groups like the NRA say the numbers are too insignificant for their to be drastic changes like that.
