Charlie Weis’ Message To Recruits: Come Be Part of a “Pile of Crap”

University of Kansas coach Charlie Weis is trying a different approach with possible new football recruits. At Big 12 media days, he explained that the team went 1 – 11 and is expected to finish last in the conference again. He agreed and then added ‘Have you looked at that pile of crap out there? Have you taken a look at that?’ So if you don’t think you can play here, where do you think you can play?’ Afterwards, he was off to the children’s hospital to give a pep talk to sick kids.
