Charges Filed In The Case Of The Soccer Ref Who Died After Being Punched

ricardo-portillo---family-p_244x183The Utah teenager who sucker punched a youth soccer ref, Ricardo Portillo who later died of his injuries, has been charged. The 17 year old was charged with homicide by assault.  It’s a less severe charge than manslaughter and it carries up to five years in prison for adults, but penalties can be less for juveniles.
