Celebrities Are Losing More Privacy
The company NEC IT Solutions is testing its facial recognition programs in stores across the world including the U.S. The software was originally designed to spot terrorists and criminals, but it’s now putting together a database of celebrity faces, so that high end stores can be alerted when someone famous walks in. It’s good to know that stores will be ready to go on high alert when Pierce Brosnan needs socks.
