Cedric Plans Major Comedy Event for Super Bowl Weekend in Atlanta
Comedian Cedric the Entertainer will debut a new series on football’s biggest weekend. Titled “The 1st & Goal Comedy Bowl” the series is expected to feature all star lineups in comedy, headlined by Cedric himself. The inaugural event of this stand-up series takes place Friday, February 1 at the College Football Hall of Fame in Atlanta. In addition to featuring Cedric, the show will feature Atlanta’s own DC Young Fly, Deon Cole and Michael Blackson. And with Cedric the Entertainer at the helm you can expect an over the top evening complete with high-energy comedy, interactive elements, an athlete and star-studded red carpet, an over-the-top party, and after-party.

A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Rashad Jennings Foundation, which strives to inspire youth by making education fun, providing mentorship for individual success, and promoting health and fitness worldwide.
The 1st and Goal Comedy Bowl team plans to bring comedy to the forefront of consumer entertainment at tentpole times of the year, wrapped around key football events. Other events planned for 1st and Goal Comedy Bowl include the pro football bowl game, Hall of Fame Weekend and the College National Championship game.
