CBS’s Gary Danielson: Notre Dame Is The Last Team He’d Put In a Championship Game

CBS college football analyst Gary Danielson says even if Notre Dame is undefeated, they shouldn’t play for the National Championship. He said “I would penalize Notre Dame for not playing in a conference championship. So after Alabama, my first nod would be to Oregon, since its conference has earned respect, then Kansas State and only then Notre Dame.” He feels this system is not only fair, but will keep the national title game as dull as possible.
