Cat Leading Mexican Mayor Election

Morris, a 10 month old feline, is leading the mayoral election in the Mexican town of Xalapa after his owner nominated him in in response to his disgust with the empty promises of politicians. While running on the campaign slogan of “Tired of Voting for Rats? Vote for a Cat” – he promises to lower taxes, fix roads and implement stricter background checks on the the purchase of vacuums.
