Brooklyn is Burning
There’s been three days of rioting and protests going on in the East Flatbush area of Brooklyn. Why? Because it’s been revealed that a 16 year old who was shot and killed by police was hit in the back three times. The 16 year old, Kiki Gray, was fired on when cops saw he had a .38 caliber hand gun in his hand. Some witnesses say he wasn’t holding the gun while other say he was just showing the police he had possession of the piece, which he was holding for a friend.
During a vigil Wednesday night, mourners chanted “NYPD, KKK, how many kids did you kill today” . At this point everything is up in the air but one thing’s for certain, the residents of East Flatbush are not happy with the NYPD.
