Britain Says Ad Is Too Sexual. Lose The Women. Keep The Guys.

The British Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) banned a Renault Youtube commercial for being sexually exploitative of women. The ad, parodying “Moulin Rouge”, features a group of women in lingerie dancing around two male drivers and a group of shirtless men dancing for a female driver. The ASA banned the ad, but said Renault only needs to edit out the women dancers, not the men. Well, that’s going to sell a lot of cars.
