Amazon pilot premiere day has been announced– November 10th is the big day. Three pilots have been announced so far including one that has our attention.

Love You More will focus on Karen Best– a big girl with a big personality and a big love of Chardonnay, which occasionally causes her to make some big mistakes with men. But the biggest thing about Karen is her big heart, which she uses to excel at her job as a counselor at an independent living residence for young adults with Down syndrome. And sometimes, Karen’s need to stand up for all the little people in life manifests into a fantasy rock music number, where we discover she also has a big and beautiful voice.

The series stars New York Comedy and Cabaret sensation Bridget Everett– who we adore- and another Interrobang favorite is attached to the series– Bobcat Goldthwait is on board to direct. We’ve said many times over, if there’s something cool happening in comedy odds are high that Bobcat has some connection to it. Sex and the City‘s Michael Patrick King is showrunning the series and co-wrote the pilot with Goldthwait, Everett, and Carolyn Strauss.

If you don’t know who Bridget Everett is, you probably don’t read our site regularly, but aside from being a part of Amy Schumers’ comedy Schu-pack, she’s a gigantic talent of her own right with an amazing special of her own and a killer live show. She’s got a powerhouse singing voice, incredible style, she’s unbelievably funny and she can dominate a room like nobody’s business. We described her live show as “Rock and Roll cabaret with a lot of tits and a heart of gold” and she’s so much more, but that’s a pretty good start.

Also part of Amazon’s pilot season this year are dramatic series, Sea Oak starring Glenn Close, and another comedy, The Climb with newcomer Diarra Kilpatrick.

The Climb is all about the new American Dream– an office assistant seeks internet fame to take her away from her hum drum cubicle life. Chris Robinson directed the pilot, which shot on location in Detroit.

Amazon comedy Pilots have a pretty good track record so far.  Run-away award winner Transparent came out of the Amazon pilot program, as did success stories One Mississippi, Mozart in the Jungle, I Love Dick, and Red Oaks.  Love You More, The Climb and Sea Oak pilots will debut on November 10 exclusively on Amazon Prime Video for all customers to stream.  Make sure to watch and vote for your favorites.
