Brian Regan’s On an Exhausting But Amazing Whirlwind Press Run AND Announcing New Tour Dates!

If you love Brian Regan, this is your lucky week. You have the chance to see him perform live on Saturday night at Radio City Music Hall, one of America’s most beloved, beautiful and historic theaters.  If you can’t make it to Rockefeller Center, or maybe can’t find a babysitter, you can still see the show because it’s being broadcast LIVE on Comedy Central at 9pm eastern time. But you’ll also have the opportunity to hear his exhaustive and seemingly never ending press tour which started earlier this month. He doesn’t normally do this much press he told us, and it’s not his favorite part of the job.  “I think after talking about myself this much to this many people, you’re either going to fall in love with yourself or you’re going to want to divorce yourself.  And I’m leaning toward the later.”

We’ll be running our interview with Regan tomorrow but in the meantime, if you want to overdose on Regan this week in anticipation of the special, you can start off listening to the September 14 episode of Bill Burr’s Monday Morning Podcast, which Brian taped with Bill just two weeks ago.  Brian dropped in on the Nerdist for episode 734, where you can hear what a dirty Brian Regan joke would sound like.

This week Brian stopped by to hang out with old friends Opie and Jim Norton on Opie Radio on Monday and Brian talks about his relationship with David Letterman.  Brian also stopped in to talk with Pete Dominick and then spent time with his long time friend Ron Bennington and Gail Bennington on SiriusXM’s Bennington Show.  All three interviews are available on SiriusXM On Demand.

Regan later joined Huffington Post Live where you can see Brian peforming his one and only impression (Jay Leno interviewing Mike Tyson), before running over to the Anthony Cumia Show, and finally ended the day taping a segment with Bronson & Christine.

Tuesday, Brian called in to Bob and Tom, talked with us, The Interrobang, taped with Pete Holmes for You Made It Weird, and talked with Marc Maron, and Wednesday night he’ll be appearing on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. Brian’s press tour wraps up on Friday morning when he’ll wake up early to appear on The Today Show. That’s it for Regan, after appearing on the Today show he’s planning to do nothing but rest, (and sleep) until it’s time to  show up at Radio City Saturday night.

But there’s still one more chance to hear Brian, and it’s our favorite.  On Friday at 2pm SiriusXM’s Raw Dog Channel will premiere a brand new episode of Ron Bennington’s Unmasked with Brian as the special guest.  The hour long episode of Unmasked was taped in front of a packed house at Carolines on Broadway comedy club, and fans and fellow comedians lined up around the block for the chance to hear Brian talk about his career and the Radio City special with host Ron Bennington.  There are fall down funny stories including one about a time that Brian lost his temper, an unexpected Cosby joke, and even an emotional story that has Brian getting choked up.

And finally, we’ll continue to feature all things Brian Regan all week long leading up to Saturday Night’s special at 9pm.  Follow us this weekend on Periscope, Instagram, and Twitter for continuing coverage!
