Brazzers Put On a Stand Up Comedy Porn Star Show
In a divided world, everyone can at least agree that porn and comedy are both great. Adult entertainment website Brazzers thinks so, and so like H.B. Reese did back in 1928, Brazzers brought two great things together to create the first ever Spit Roast.
The first ever porn centered comedy show took place on August 14th, bringing together great comedians with adult entertainers for a star-studded, adults-only comedy event that included 5 comedy greats- Bob the Drag Queen (RuPaul’s Drag Race, Rough Night), Liza Treyger (The Half Hour on Comedy Central, Late Night with Seth Meyers), Guy Branum (Talk Show The Game Show, No Strings Attached), Deb DiGiovanni and Steph Tolev. Bonnie Rotten, Charles Dera and Missy Martinez joined in performing their first stand up sets ever, and it was all hosted by Lisa Ann.
Brazzers premiered the special “live-ish” on YouTube, giving viewers a chance to comment along on October 30th, and it’s available on YouTube to watch anytime. Brazzers Marketing Director Gary Ticher explained the concept. “Brazzers has always incorporated humor into its scenes, and we are so excited to let the comedic spirit of our brand grow through this unique project.”
The plan was for a comedy special that joked about porn and adult talent from both ends, and it worked, with the peak of the hour coming from Liza Treyger, a comic who knows her way around a porn site or two. All the comedians delivered. While none of the adult stars are about to disrupt the stand up status quo, all the sets are entertaining and good dirty fun.
