Filmmaker Bobcat Goldthwait and comedian, satirist and activist (and film subject) Barry Crimmins will be sitting down with Ron Bennington to tape an episode of Unmasked at SiriusXM on Wednesday July 29th and you can be in the audience.
Bobcat Goldthwait not only became known as one of the biggest stand up comedians in the United States, and had gigantic roles as an actor in the Police Academy Series, and he also has had an incredibly prolific career as a filmmaker creating incredible movies like World’s Greatest Dad, Sleeping Dogs Lie and God Bless America. Barry Crimmins has one hell of a story. He was the primary force behind creating the Boston comedy scene and was a mentor and inspiration to so many of the comics who came up in Boston. He’s a brilliant satirist, and an activist, and achieved all of that after overcoming a childhood trauma that almost killed him. The movie Call Me Lucky brought them together again. Directed by Bobcat, with Crimmins as the subject, its an extraordinary movie, and Barry and Bobcat will be sit down in front of a live studio audience at SiriusXM’s New York studios to talk about it.
The episode will tape on Wednesday July 29th at 3pm. If you want to be a part of the in-studio audience, here’s how to request tickets. Please be sure you can make it if you request tickets, as there are only a few seats available:
