Bo Burnham Handles Squatting Heckler
Bo Burnham is not known for his kindness to hecklers. He has stopped his show completely when interrupted and usually to give the heckler a loud “Shut the fuck up”. As far as comedy catchphrases go, Bo Burnham could get that one trademarked.
Wednesday night, the comedian / musician was performing in Atlanta at the Buckhead Theatre when a drunk heckler stumbled on stage and decided to set up camp and just sit there during Bo’s show. This situation added another chapter in Bo Burnham heckler history. Watch as Bo reasons with the man named Brian. If you didn’t catch his name, don’t worry. Brian will remind you. According to the video posted on Salon, once Bo has led Brian off stage that’s when he gives him the gentle advice “Kill yourself”. Bo tweeted to Salon on why that line didn’t go too far. The other thing everyone can learn from this video is that you can’t depend on Larry from security.
Bo has another show tonight at the Buckhead Theatre. It’s sold out, hopefully for Bo, Brian didn’t get tickets in advance.
