Blogger Fired For Comments About Asians in the LPGA

Blogger Craig Schaller was fired from his part-time radio job at WHAM-AM in Rochester, NY after he made stereotypical jokes writing about Asian lady golfers on the LPGA tour. The blog was carried on the radio station’s website. Schaller wrote “It’s hard to remember specific golfers when half of them seem to have names that sound like the sound you get when you bang pots and pans together.” But he claims that when he wrote they couldn’t drive, he meant their golf swing.
