Binge Drinking – Not Only Bad For Your Liver, Also Your Bones
Heavy drinkers are more likely to break bones in their body and have healing times as slow as people 10 or 20 years older than them. By getting mice drunk and breaking their bones, scientists found that fractures just don’t heal as well due to alcohol adversely affecting a protein that heals bones. Stick to heavy drinking, only in a rubber room.
