Bill Hader’s Favorite Impression That Never Aired

Last night Bill Hader was a guest on Late Night with Seth Meyers. He talked about a sketch that never made it on the air that involved one of his favorite impressions. He wrote the sketch with John Mulaney, who he calls the funniest human being on the planet. It involved an impression of Bob Simon, who was the 60 Minutes correspondent who always did the third segment on the show– the take it or leave it assignment. If you’re wondering, how the hell did this hilarity not make it on air? Blame the dress rehearsal audience.

And of course Bill can’t go anywhere without talking about hisSNL character, Stefon. Hader has been making the late show rounds promoting his new movie, The Skeleton Twins, which is a part of our Filtered Excellence this week, and he just finished shooting the new Judd Apatow movie with Amy Schumer.
