Bill Cosby Worcester Show Cancelled, Others Offering Refunds

bilde

If you live in the Worcester, Mass area and were hoping to see a comedy legend hit by sexual assault accusations on stage, sorry, that show have been cancelled. Bill Cosby’s performance scheduled for February 6th at the Hanover Theatre has been mutually called off. Cosby and venue both left it up to the promoter who decided to pull the plug.

According to the Telegram, Hanover Theatre President and Chief Executive Officer Troy Siebels thinks this is for the best. He said, “I do think we are relieved. It’s not a situation anybody wanted to be in, but our image in the community means a lot to us and I know that there are those who will be relieved not to see him appear here.”

As for Cosby’s two shows this weekend in Denver at the Buell Theater, they will still go on, but according to 9News.com, Ticketmaster will offer refunds to anyone that has changed their mind about seeing Cosby and want their money back. More than 3000 tickets have been sold for both shows.
