Patrice O’Neal passed away six years ago this week and left a giant hole in the comedy universe. His friends have not forgotten him.
Bill Burr and Maureen Taran hold the annual Patrice O’Neal Benefit comedy show at New York’s beautiful City Center Theater, and every year it sells out. The line up this year brings back benefit regulars Rich Vos and Robert Kelly, and of course Bill Burr, and also adds some new faces who didn’t perform last year– Brendon Burns, Pete Correale, Joe DeRosa, Sam Jay, Jessica Kirson, and Cipha Sounds are going to be in the mix. More special guests are planned.
This year’s benefit is set for Tuesday February 20th, 2018 at 7pm at New York City Center. All seats are $75 and all go to benefit Patrice’s family. You can buy tickets at nycitycenter.org/Patrice6 or at the City Center Box Office at 131 West 55th Street.
If you’ve been to these events before then you know its an unforgettable night and if you’ve never gone, then it’s about time you checked one out.
