Bill Burr is continuing a great tradition in stand up- giving a shot on television to promising young comics. The brand new series called “Bill Burr Presents: The Ringers” will run for five episodes, each giving three up and coming comics the opportunity to reach a larger audience via Comedy Central.
This week, Comedy Central announced the schedule for Burr’s Ringers which includes appearances from New York favorites Rosebud Baker and Jordan Temple, as well as LA rising stars Eleanor Kerrigan and Josh Adam Meyers. In total, fifteen comedians will perform for fifteen minutes a piece.
The series run starts Friday January 10th at 11pm with Baker, Temple and Meyers. Kerrigan is set to appear on January 24th and another Interrobang favorite, Steph Tolev will make her appearance on Friday February 7th.
They are the best of the new best, Burr says in the trailer, the comics who are loved by other comics.
Bill Burr Presents The Ringers is part of a development deal between Comedy Central and Burr’s All Things Comedy Network. That deal also included three hour specials under the Bill Burr Presents banner– Paul Virzi, Jessica Kirson and Ian Edwards. Watch the trailer above and set your DVRs just in case!
