Banks Won’t Take Marijuana Money, Even If It’s Legal

Business owners pulling in cash from now legal marijuana sales are still facing the huge hassle of being a cash only business. It’s nearly impossible for them to get the ability to accept credit cards because they can’t open and maintain bank accounts. Since pot’s still illegal on the federal level, banks are reluctant to take the cash of these new marijuana entrepreneurs. No longer will people have to rob banks when they can just knock over weed dispensaries.
