Asian American Group Wants An Apology From The New York Post For Front Page That Was Pulled

MasahiroTanaka-278x300The Asian American Journalists Association wants the New York Post to issue an apology for a front page that most people never even saw. When the NY Yankees signed pitcher Masahiro Tanaka, the Post depicted him in the cockpit of a Japanese Kamikaze warplane, labeling him the “$155M Bronx Bomber” and a new “Japanese ace.” The newspaper’s editors realized this could be seen as offensive and pulled the front page, but not before some issues went to print. The Post says it will only apologize to the group if they can make them all look like sumo wrestlers on the front page with the headline – “So Sorry”.
