Ariel Castro’s Plea Deal. Life Plus 1000 Years

Ariel Castro, the Cleveland man who kidnapped and kept 3 women hostage for a decade, made a plea deal to avoid the death penalty. The sentence is life without parole plus an additional 1,000 years. Seems like a good lawyer could have gotten that down to at least 900 years.
