Are All Chinese Pop Stars This Creepy?
A 24 year old Chinese pop star had declared his love for a 12 year old Canadian model on China’s equivalent of Facebook, Waibo. And it’s being reciprocated. They 24 year old posted this on his Waibo page:
“Today we’re super happy, laughing, being crazy, had a nap and practised singing. I said to Miki, ‘I’m going to be with you as you grow, I’ll always wait for you.’ “
To which 12 year old Akama Miki responded:
“Wait until I’m old enough to marry you, and then I’m going to say ‘I do.’ “
It looks like they’ve begun dating, however a 24 year old can date a 12 year old. For her 12th birthday, Zhang Muyi posted the following – “I simply can’t wait for these next four birthdays of yours to pass, I’m counting down each one.” Is this some sort of Chinese work to blow this dude up Gangnam Style? Or can Zhang save himself for when young Akama finally turns 16?
