A survey shows that the amount of cash that kids are getting from the tooth fairy for a lost tooth is going up. The going rate is $3.70 a tooth, up 23% from last year and 42% from 2 years ago. The reason being that parents don’t want their kid being the one that got the least amount among their friends. And with the current economy, the tooth fairy is considering downsizing and reorganizing her operation to only include molars.
