Andrew Dice Clay Asks Big Jay Oakerson To Go Steady….On Tour

Andrew Dice Clay Calls Calls in to The Bonfire and Talks Comedy, Rock and Roll and the “Suck My Dick, Fingerless Gloves Tour” With Big Jay Oakerson

For those of you who may have missed it yesterday, Andrew Dice Clay gave Big Jay Oakerson a shout-out on his Instagram and today, the worlds of Andrew Dice Clay and Big Jay Oakerson have collided and some pretty serious comedy history has been made. Dice Clay called in live and these two comedy greats had a conversation, got to know each other, and set the terms of a future collaboration of mass proportions.

Big Jay, who is a life long fan of Andrew Dice Clay, had the chance to tell him about the influence Clay has had on his edgy, Rock and Roll brand of comedy. Hearing Jay talk to one of his biggest heroes was unforgettable and completely surreal. I can’t even begin to imagine how pumped Jay must have been throughout the exchange. Clay told Jay about the influence Elvis had on his performance and sense of style and was completely humble as Jay offered his praise and appreciation for Dice’s legendary career. Dice shared stories of his early days in the business, hooking up with tons of girls and the years he spent living in the house Mitzi Shore owned. It was a really great interview. Their conversation kept going strong the entire time. It was so much fun hearing these two reminiscing about their early days in Philadelphia and the bumps they both took while they were coming up. And as if their amazing conversation wasn’t comedy gold enough…. Dice then went so far as to suggest the two of them go on tour together. Jay was 100% in.

Andrew Dice Clay then shared the name of their soon to be comedy tour; it’s the “Suck My Dick, Fingerless Gloves Tour” and Big Jay absolutely loved the idea. Being as the two like-minded comedians have been so influenced by rock and roll throughout their careers, Dice Clay suggested their inaugural show take place at The Roxy Theatre in West Hollywood. He also thought that early August would be a good time to kick off their “S.M.D.F.G.T.” tour and Jay promised he would make himself available. One thing I know for sure is that this collaboration is one for the ages and if there is one show that you absolutely have to see this year, Andrew Dice Clay and Big Jay Oakerson would be it!
