Amy Schumer Promotes New Special With Scotch and Cigar

HBO has released the key art for Amy Schumer’s new special, “Amy Schumer Live at the Apollo.”  The special was filmed at New York City’s famed Apollo theater on May 29th before a live audience, just before her film, Trainwreck hit theaters.

Amy has had an incredible year, and her new special is expected to be the cherry on the top.  She’s an amazing performer, hot off a huge hit movie (which by the way she both wrote and starred in), had her special directed by a comedy legend at a historic theater, fresh off a big Emmy win for her beloved sketch series, scored a record breaking advance for a book, mingling with super stars all summer long, showing up on stages with music legends including opening for Madonna, hosting her first Saturday Night Live, and oh yeah, just put a date headlining at Madison Square Garden on her calendar for December.  This girl might just be on to something.
